About Coco and DJ, from current family:
Coco is grey, 15 lbs and very independent. Accepts your attention when he feels like it, otherwise he will pretend he doesn't know you want his attention. He DOES understand the word NO. Don't have to raise your voice, unless he is definitly ignoring you, for example, he is trying to escape outside. We use walkers and he likes to ride on the seat of the walker. After two times I caught on that when I was coming into the house with my walker, he jumped onto the seat of my walker, it was only to immediately jump off , and out the door he would go. He would want back in,as soon as there was a dog bark or a loud noise. He will look at me with his big eyes as though to say I already know you love me and that is very sweet of you, but attention is still on my terms.
DJ is white and weighs 9 lbs. He is still an independent cat, but has a more needy personality. He loves attention. Anyone comes to our door and he is right there to check them out, wait for their admiration and a few pets, Then if Coco has graced us with his presence, DJ will jump on counter and if you are close enough he will put his paw on your back, arm, shoulder, etc, along with a meow and begging look in his eyes trying to get YOUR attention back from Coco or us.
They love to "pretend" fight, usually in evening or during night. They will run around the house until one wants to be caught. Fun to watch. They usually have several rounds, before they quit. Sometimes in evening, they will "talk" to each other with Coco being the most vocal with his meows. Their antics helped us get through COVID.
They were 7 months old when we adopted them through Find a Pet. Owner would not separate them and have never been separated, so we are rehoming them as a pair.Best way to contact: Email, richgels@yahoo.com Phone, (608) 778-7961
