Adoption FEES

Dogs - Dog adoption fees depend on the age of the dog.

  • Under 7 months old are $350.

  • 7 months-7 years old are $300

  • Over the age of 7 are $250

Cats - Cat adoption fees depend on the age of the cat.

  • Under 7 months old are $100

  • 7 months but younger than 7 years old are $60

  • 7 years old or older are $30

All dogs, puppies, cats & kittens that are old enough will be spayed/neutered, micro-chipped and vaccinated for rabies before being adopted. Please note that if you do adopt an unaltered animal, you as the adopter are still contractually responsible for making sure that your new pet gets spayed/neutered/vaccinated by the designated deadline.

Small Animals -

  • $5 for mouse, gerbil or hamster

  • $10 for rats

  • $15 for Guinea Pigs

  • $50 for Rabbits

  • Exotics are determined individually

Birds - Bird adoption fees are according to size.

  • Small Birds (Parakeets, Canaries, etc.) are $10

  • Medium birds (Cockatiels, Love Birds, Doves, etc.) are $20

  • Large birds such (Conures, Parrots, African Greys, etc.) are $200

Permanent promotions

Twice The Love - Adopt two cats or small animals to the same home- Pay one adoption at regular price and get the second 1/2 off.

Bonded Pairs - All bonded pairs will have ONE adoption fee.

Extended Stay - If an animal has been available for adoption at the shelter for longer than 30 days, or in foster care for more than 60 day they will receive 50% off the adoption fee.

Exceptional Owner Wanted - Adopt an animal with noted special medical or behavioral needs to receive 50% the adoption fee.
